Cons: 2 songs kept it from being 5 star status!
What can I say .. J.E. has done it again. It's about time they did a self titled album. I thought they were going to add the word "Jagged" before every future album release to come for a minute there. Oops .. I said the word album, thus showing my age. At any rate. If it weren't for 2 songs, "Sexy American Girls" & "Who U Wit?" (which I feel were rushed to complete the CD and make a deadline) ... the ENTIRE CD would be a perfect "10". The best up-tempo cuts on this album are clearly .. "Watch You & Ghetto Guitar" and when they slow it down a notch .. nothing can compare to "Good Luck Charm!". Jagged Edge rules in my book and is Atlanta's greatest R&B act ever. Get this CD and treasure it for life! ...

Pro Reviews: Jagged Edge
| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews Released nearly three years after 2003's Hard, the fifth Jagged Edge album offers little change from what preceded it. One of the last groups you'd expect to depart from a longestablished m.o., Jagged Edge seems willing to only adjust the balance of ballads and cluboriented tracks that make up their albums. It's hard to fault them for their lack of adventurousness when they've remained successful let alone together for a decade. The Casey twins remain in control on all of the material and wisely keep the few guest appearances lowkey. The only real surprise is that the group doesn't turn strictly to rappers; on "Season's Change," they bring in John Legend, and while they work well with one another, the song is an obvious attempt to replicate the success of Legend's "Ordinary People." Jermaine Dupri, the man who gave the group its shot at stardom but eventually took his So So Def label to Virgin without Jagged Edge in tow, remains part of the family by collaborating on a pair of songs. Despite a slightly greater proportion of cluboriented tracks, this album is standardissue Jagged Edge, which is enough to keep them rolling as steadily as they have for the past several years. - Andy Kellman, All Music Guide |

Pros: for all JE fans
Cons: there are none
What can I say? It's JE....Brandon, Brian, Wingo and Kyle are sounding good as always and the vocals and harmonies are TIGHT!
I love every song on this CD. Truly I do! Right now the CD is in heavy rotation with Maty J The Breakthrough and Ne-Yo In My Own Words. I have to say I can play JE from sun up til sun down and still not miss a beat. My favorite track is #4 Hopefully. Although every time a song comes on i'm like that's my jam, lol. Ghetto guitar is HOT! Watch You is SEXY! Crying is EMOTIONAL Good Luck Charm is JE AT THIER BEST! Get a Lil' BIt of This is FUN! Baby Feel Me is ANOTHER SEXY ONE......"In the game of sex i'm an all star veteran" I could go on and on for days!
If you're a true JE fan....."since demo we've been making them ho's hot" You are sure to enjoy and love this CD as much as I do:-) ...
