Jacob takes us for a ride!
Pros: Scary as Hell
Cons: I have no complaints
The movie takes you on a ride through Hell. This movie is unique. It is difficult to explain the movie without giving it away. If you enjoy movies with dept then watch this classic tale of a man struggling with demons.

Darn good film, i'v just seen it on the telly, and i must say i'v not seen better vietnam film for long... Sure is a film i vould like other to see..

to truly appreciate the complex nature of this film ,it has to be watched at least twice ,then ,it dawns on you ,that part of the of Jacob's experience is real ,and part is imagined ,very complex ,add to that the excellent acting ,and you have a classic ,a disturbing one at that

I've seen it two times successively. It shows almost all the ingredients possible including war, slaughter, mystery, horrer, conspiracy and a poor father's desperate love for the lost child. At a glance, you could have a doubt how the director could handle them to the conclusion. But, don't worry about that. Who is the director? The movie has one of the most perfect finale, and it even presents you an unexpected bonus, extremely dramatic reverse. It really is worthy enough!!!

Well, ya know, I've always heard about this film and had always thought it was a horror movie, but it really isn't. A friend of mine told me I had to watch it, so I did. This is one of those movies you have to watch again to really feel it. I still need to watch it again. All I have to say is this is definitely one of my all-time favorite movies. It has such deep meaning in it that may make you think about strange things. But good things. Anyways, this film is very symbolic and I would recommend it to anyone who likes films which have deep symbolic meanings about life and death.
