The Northridge N24AWII speaker features high-temperature oversized Kapton voice coil and HeatScape motor structure, which allow these speakers to effortlessly play all types of movies and music. The FreeFlow flared port increases bass response without adding unwanted port noise. JBL's custom-designed drivers allow the use of simple, Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover networks with high-quality electrical components that minimize processing that could degrade the signal. This 2-way, 4" bookshelf weather-resistant loudspeaker with high-impact molded enclosure reproduces sound with unmatched clarity and power. The WeatherPlas (polymer-coated cellulose fiber) cone woofer features traditional JBL engineering, the same technologies used in JBL's professional equipment that can be found in stadiums, music halls and move theaters around the world. Wall-mount brackets are also included.

    Excellent sound and durabillity for the price

    Pros: Sturdy cabinet, great sound, holds up great in weather

    Cons: grills rusted

    I'm back to buy another set. I bought a pair 5 years ago and they are still sounding great. They have spent 70% of the time outside in direct rain, snow and sun. We just tip them over to keep the rain off the speakers. The only ONLY draw back is... that the grills on our last set did develop spotty rust after 2 years. Not damageing rust just ugly dust rust. But they can be wire brushed and sprayed and make it another season. Like I said... I'm back to buy another pair Read more Less
