HTi6 2-way in-wall loudspeakers deliver powerful, clear JBL sound in a space-saving package. The polymer-coated aluminum cone with rubber surround can handle plenty of bass for an extended listening session, such as a house party, without producing significant distortion. The speakers include integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications.

    Excellent Surround Speakers

    Pros: Ease of Installation, Sound Quality

    Cons: Depth of Speakers (3 7/8")

    When I finally decided to expand my home theater system, I began looking for a "good" pair of surround speakers to round out my system that wouldn't bankrupt me. I looked at Infinity, Bose, and JBL as my alternatives. With the inability... to listen to each individual speaker, I purchased the JBL's based on their reputation, value and ~$200 price point. Once they arrived, I installed them in the ideal location. The one thing that caused a bit of problem was the speakers depth (3 7/8"). This left little room for error as one of my walls was only 3 3/4" as the result of a stucco problem in the front of my house. Obviously, JBL can't forsee problems such as these, but I've had other wall speakers whose depth has been around 3 1/2" allowing some room for error. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this product and recommend them for value hungry consumers. Read more Less
