    Pros: Fabulous Italian Party Music

    Cons: Really hard to get, found it finally on Tower Records.com

    My Italian born father turned 50 last month, and we wanted to give him a fun, authentic Italian party. We searched high and low on the Internet to come up with a CD with fun Italian songs, which were not a re-hash of the old Connie Francis/Dean marti...n songs he already had on his CDS. Well, The Italian Wedding, despite the name, filled the bill. It is not only appropriate for a wedding, but for any Italian themed event. The songs are fresh, original and so much fun.     I purchased this CD for my wedding hoping to appease the American-Italian side of the family. I prepared myself for boring or ala "the Godfather" type dramatic songs, only to find music that made literally everyone get up and dance. And not just one ...song - EVERYBODY DANCED the ENTIRE NIGHT! We ended up not even using the DJ, if you can believe that - he was too busy dancing the Tarantella with us!! This CD was a hit at my wedding and I know it will be at yours! Enjoy. Read more Less

    Its a "Big Fat Italian Wedding" success. I recommend to all.I bought this CD at an Italian festival and gave it to my best friend (who is Italian and was also engaged to one!) as a wedding shower present. Well, her wedding was held last week and the ...whole place went crazy when the DJ put on the music. It was an instant Italian party--we did everything from the chicken dance to the tarantella. Someone said it was like a "Big Fat Italian Wedding" scene. Anyway, I'd recommend this to any bride looking for happy Italian music for her reception. Read more Less
