  • All Music Guide

Although it may be a little hard to find, It's Midnight is a valuable collection that contains the highlights from Little Willie Littlefield's recordings for Modern and Federal between 1949 and 1957. These recordings capture Littlefield at his best, rocking through a number of jump blues, RB and blues songs, including "K.C. Loving," "It's Midnight," "Farewell" and "I've Been Lost." It's an excellent collection that should be reissued on compact disc.
