It Ain't Half Hot Mum (1998)

A collection of three episodes from the popular 1970s British sitcom, about the adventures of a concert party roaming through India and Burma during World War II to entertain the British troops. In "The Jungle Patrol" the Sergeant-Major tries to toughen up his men by taking them into the wilderness without food, but the men secretly bring along all their amenities. In "The Road to Bannu" the gang is confronted by a bandit chief and everyone must come up with a way to appease him. In "The Night of the Thugs" the troops take shelter in an abandoned temple, with a statue with ruby eyes that become very tempting.
