An Island worth staying stranded on

This is one of my personnal faves from the Arkster- right up there with Star inthe Sky and Dream Warrior. He gets help from Andrew White, and it's a splendid collaboration. Energetic, breezy, spirited, and fun to listen to, Island delivers the visio...n it promises. And with a simple yet emotionally charged closing piece, it's really a nice complete package. Desert Ride, Passage, and that closer: Carnation Lily Lily Rose are standouts in an overall excellent album. Hey, I said it was one of my favorites...What more do you need to know? • All Music Guide

David Arkenstone collaborates with Andrew White to create Island. This project builds on the tremendous success of Valley In the Clouds and at the same time opens up new avenues of expression for David. His trademark of lively synthesizer playing is joined by Andrew's acoustic guitar stylings, very strong rhythms and some powerful electric guitar work by Arkenstone.
