Before releasing his fulllength debut, In Perenne Riserva, Io, Carlo (born in Germany in 1971 as Carlo Fath, though his family moved to Italy when he was three) was known as a talented house and techno producer, most often with the indie label Motivo, whose staff he joined in 2002.
