Intocable's history began when friends Ricardo Muñoz and René Martínez started playing together just for fun. Soon after, these enthusiastic young musicians were helped by their parents to form their own band. In 1992, Intocable independently recorded its first album at Corpus Christi, later getting the attention of EMI Latin, which signed them up, issuing Fuego Eterno in 1993. After the release of Otro Mundo in 1994, Intocable's "Parece Que No" hit U.S. and Mexican Latin charts. In 1998, the band successfully performed at Houston's Astrodome.
