    Interview With The Vampire is one the best vampire movie I have ever seen! Tom Cruise is at his best, giving an excellent performance as the mysterious, and irresistible Vampire Lestat, while Brad Pitt portrays his role beautifully as Louis, a viciou...s killer with a quiet love for mortal's. Kirsten Dunst however outshines the entire cast with her outstanding performance as the vampire child, Claudia. With every ounce of her acting ability, Dunst brings her character to life with just the right ammount of immorality a woman forever trapped inside the body of child needs to become believable, terrifying, and enchanting all at the same time. Based on Anne Rice's acclaimed novel, Interview With The Vampire is definately a film that will never go out of date! Read more Less

    This is the greatest Vapire movie of all time! It gave us all a new meaning to the word "Vapire". It's love, hate, peace, and war all at the same time. I've read the book and the movie could not have been better. Brad Pitt (Loius) did a wonderful... performence as a Creole. And Tom Cruise (Lestat) made evil look so fun! Read more Less

    This movie is very very good! Fantastic! I never knew Tom Cruise could actually look good, after being Lestat I realised. After reading the Chronicles then seeing it I realised why people were raving! Although the books are better (hehe) It was just ...a shame that the film didnt include everything that happened in the book, esp. the bit where Lestat has claudias dress, just after she died. Another problem was the fact of Antonio Banderas! Obv. the film directors/writers didnt realise that Armand is actually 17! But never mind he still played Armand VERY well. Also a supurb performance by Brad Pitt, he makes a VERY good Louis, but I still think Tom Cruise makes the best Lestat! I don't think I will watch 'Queen of the Damned' After I saw clips of it-Lestat has blond hair for goodness sakes not brown! And besides no-one could play a better Lestat than Tom and no-one could play a btter Louis apart from Brad (well maybe the vampires in question could.....hehe......) Read more Less

    wow. this is the very scary side of tom cruise and brad pitt that i have ever saw in this horror film. they are really good. especially kirsten dunst. oh i spelled her last name right. 5 stars for this movie. watch it.

    IT WAS A WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!! WE LOVE YOU LESTAT!!!!!
    The film had a gripping plot, deep characters and a beautiful setting. I think I've got a new obsession coming on....

    Tom Cruise's Lestat is more than good. I can't belive Lestat is the same person as Charlie in "RainMan"! He is so good at acting. And it was beautiful too. And this movie... it isn't disgusting, like most horror movies. And thumbs up to Anne Rice, I... love your books!! I wish they would make all the other Chronical series too! Read more Less

    This is my favorite movie. Brad Pitt made the perfect Louis. All four of the main men worked excellently with each other. I don't think they could have chosen anyone better to play the role of Lestat. This is a must see movie, if you like the underw...orld side. Kristen Dunst as Claudia was also a perfect fit. This is one of thoses movies you can just watch over and over again and never get sick of it. Read more Less

    Before I saw this movie I hadn't even heard of Anne Rice, but it made me research about her.I've read all the Anne Rice's vampiric books by now, and I feel that the movie is a masterpiece. Pitt is the perfect Louis from any point of view, and Cruise... is great as Lestat (only shorter). Armand is older than the one in the book, but Banderas' performance makes you forget about this. The movie reflects the loneliness of the vampires as wonderful as the book do, and it became one of my favorite films since the first time I saw it. Read more Less

    No matter how many times I watch this movie, I will never stop enjoying it. From the excellent sound and picture, to the wonderful casting and directing, this movie is one of, if not the best, vampire movies I have ever seen. (And, wow, I have seen a... LOT!) Also, since Anne Rice wrote the screenplay, the movie stuck very close to the original story, something that I admire in a book turned movie scenario. The only thing that might have needed improvement was the DVD extras. They just seemed slightly lacking somehow. Overall, this is a very good movie, and I encourage everyone to buy or rent it.
