Stereo Instrumental Oldies a diverse, often obscure collection of instrumental oldies recorded in true stereo. This compilation was overseen by ~Discoveries magazine, one of the leading record collector's guides, and the track selection reflects this expert touch. Three songs -- Duane Eddy's "Rebel Rouser," "Johnny the Hurricane's "Reveille Rock" and "Manhattan Spiritual" by Reg Owen His Orchestra -- make their first appearance in stereo on CD here. Classic artists like Mongo Santamaria, the Vince Guaraldi Trio and Laurence Welk and classic songs like "Yellow Bird," "Alley Cat" and "Wheels" are also represented, and Cub Koda's extensive liner notes provide ample history on all the selections.
