Well I couldn't believe that nobody else had reviewed this album, so I just thought I would write a few words. As far as Techno music goes "Mayday breaks down all barriers that are being put up by a lot of "modern day" Techno. As oppose to the 4/4 b...eat that has become second nature to some producers, Mr May uses liquid breakbeats that seem to flow endlessly from part to part. Obviously some of the material on these records is getting on a bit now, but definately does not sound dated, as I have heard some people say. If you are into "underground dance music" then this is a must for you. However do not expect thumping hard bass lines in every track, this is an acquired taste, musical poetry, an electronic story if you like, that intrigues you the more you listen to it. Thanks again Derrick for a piece of art that is still regularly played in my circle of friends and will be forever. A timeless masterpiece, by a master of techno.
