    A thrilling album!

    Every songs in "The Innocents" are brilliant. I love all of them, specially "Witch In The Ditch", "Yahoo!" and "Phantom Bride". Erasure was and will continue to be an oasis in the desert of pop music and this album is an excellent proof of this.

    This CD won me over as a die hard Erasure fan back in 1988. How many times have I had to buy the tape, due to over play.

    Best of the 80's albums

    Not my favorite, but all of the songs are pop gems. I like their early 90's stuff the most. They grew so much, but for what it is, this is a great record. The best starter for new fans.

    Absoulute album your wrong there my friend im the one who has a degree in discography,better stick to your backstreet boys and n sync cause the 80s stuff is too harsh for you

    THE BEST ALBUM EVER! - HANDS DOWN!

    I love Erasure, and every album they have put out. But this album was filled with at least 9 singles that could have charted very well in the UK and here in the US, where they scored their first two 20 singles with "Chains Of Love" (#12) and "A Litt...le Respect" (#14) (the other reviewer is way wrong!). I have fallen in love with every song on this album (except for the instrumental 65000, which doenst belong there in my opinion). But Stephen Hauge did a great job of producing and Vince and Andy wrote some of the best music of their carrers. This was the reason CD players were invented!!! Read more Less

    I WAS'NT REALLY INTO ERASURE. UNTIL THE INNOCENTS WAS RELEASED.I THINK THAT THIS ALBUM IS A TRUE DEFINITIVE ALBUM OF THE EIGHTIES & THEIR BEST ALBUM TO DATE. IT FEATURES A COUPLE OF TOP-10 SINGLES HERE IN AMERICA "CHAINS OF LOVE"#2 APRIL 1988 & " A ...LITTLE RESPECT"#1 JUNE 1988. OOPS! I ALSO FORGOT "SHIP OF FOOLS"#2 AUGUST 1988. I THINK THE INNOCENTS IS A MUST OWN. Read more Less
