Synopsis: Innocent Blood (1992)

Synopis: The underworld and netherworld collide as two types of bloodsuckers work the same Pittsburgh turf: nefarious gangsters, and a sexy, tormented female vampire who preys on them. INNOCENT BLOOD is a uniquely amusing blend of vampire, gangster, and love stories, starring Anne Parillaud as the beguiling vampire Marie, who feeds on the head of the Pittsburgh mafia and suddenly finds herself responsible for creating a bloodthirsty killer. When the newly created vampire mobster devises a scheme to turn his macho mafia men into vampire killing machines, she knows he must be stopped. Look for cameos from such significant B-movie personages as Sam Raimi, Dario Argento, Linnea Quigley, and Teri Weigel.

   1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this Innocent Blood review helpful Although funny, this film isn't nearly as funny as other horror-comedies like Evil Dead II. It's munching scenes are quite graphic with an eerie glow in the vampires' eyes. The eyes change colors depending on the vampire's mood at the time (i.e. Bedroom/handcuff scene). All in all, it was a fairly enjoyable movie. Look for Sam Raimi's (Evil Dead series) cameo as a meat packing worker. ...
