    A Debut- But Not With a Bang

    Anyone who writes a song on Medjugorje is o.k. with me, however we need more lyrics here. Karen has the mind to be a good songwriter/singer, but this first recording does not impress.

    Karen Peris has the voice of an angel. On their major label debut, the Innocence Mission showcase Peris' otherworldly folkie rock tunes. The music is extremely in-the-moment. This self-titled release is a pleasure to listen to; however, the songs don't stay with you between listens.
