    Pros: Smart love story, great characters

    Cons: no one knows about it!

    I love this movie. I too have read some of Feynman's books but I like to look at movies separate from the book. Judging this movie by itself, it excellent. Matthew Broderick and Patricia Arquette give these characters such demension and life. ... (I always cry at the end and I've seen it at least 20 times) It shows enough of Fenyman to get a feel for his character but Broderick makes it his own. Also, as a side note, Matthew's mother wrote the screenplay and he directed it. I love the opening scene and how the film incorporates the sub-plot of the bomb throughout the love story. It's more than a love story. If I say anymore I'll spoil it so just go watch it for yourself. Just beware. Watch it without comparing it to Feynman's books or else you will be dissapointed.     Very disappointed, however...

    The life of Richard Feynman is fascinating, and having read two of his books I was very excited to hear of this movie being made about him.The movie release came and went. I dont even think it was shown in my area. I rented this film after its relea...se to video and was very diappointed. They attempted to take his life and adapt it into a love story. Unfortunately, his relationships were not what made his life interesting. If you enjoyed his books you'll probably be just as disappointed in the movie. Even looking at it as a separate piece of work, I still dont think it was worth seeing. Read more Less
