I love this album, she is definenlty a soultress, her sound is beautiful! I love the messages behind the songs, my favorites are"INi", "Shine"(my favorite),"Weather",and "Sweet Misery", which is basically the enire album!! It's great, I can't wait until her solo sophomore album comes out late this year , So be on the watch...!!! Peace&Love *Khadijah from Philly!*

I love this album, just as i loved the Groove Theory album. Every one needs these two cds in their collection. I just returned from the Billboards website and saw that Amel Infinite Possibilities debuted at number # 79.
Come on people get your friends to support her album. Why is it that always the good artist never sell albums, but the wack gimmicks always go platinum or gold. As fans we need to promote Amel's cd because if she doesnt sell well we might not here her lovely voice again on future recordings. Support the Positive.
My favorite song is the self titled cut Infinite Possibilities. The lyrics really pertain to my life in some ways. I met Amel in 97. She is a very sweet and beautiful person inside and out. She really appreciates her fans.
Its a shame Amel is not getting her props like she deserves, While others are like J. Scott, Macy Gray get all the attention and radio play etc. Hopefully people will wake up when Amel releases her new album coming sometime in 2002. Peace, BdoubWas this review helpful? This girl has the makings of a diva, the voice, the talent, the songs. Make me whole makes me cry everytime I hear it. I recommend this to everyone!

Amel Larrieux's album is clearly one of the best R&B albums of the year. She towers over Kelly Price and Toni Braxton in the field because she sends a lot of positive messages and smooth vibes to the listener through her beautiful voice. "Get Up" and "Searchin' For My Soul" add upbeat tempos to the album, while the self-esteem influenced "InI" adds a little depth. "Sweet Misery" allows us to feel her pain, while "Make Me Whole" just makes us want to cuddle up with that special someone. "Even If" is also an inspirational love ballad with gospel tinged into the seams, and "Down" gives the album a Billie Holliday-esque feel. "Shine" and "Weather" also stand out on the album, as does the title track "Infinite Possibilities". Amel, you go girl and may your future in music be blessed!

This is truely the best female solo soul LP since Baduism. Unlike other artists that get stuck in the singing about ONLY love rut, Amel covers the gamut of the black experience, its triumphs and adversities.

One of the best CD's of the year in any genre of music. Leaves you wanting more, and more. Smooth Sade style tracks,combined with that innocent voice. All track are heaven, check out(INI, Make me Whole, Get Up)

This album has a nice blend of R&B and jazz feel. Amel's voice is just smooth and relaxing. What really makes her album is that not only are her voice and music top notch, but she her lyrics just complete the vibe.

Amel aloso appeared on the Sweetback cd on the first track and a couple more on the cd. She has a tight voice and should blow up real soon. Can't wait to hear the cd!!!!!

Most of you may not know her name, but you will. For all you R&B fans, you may remember this young lady from her former group, GrooveTheory. They had a song out a couple years ago that blew up the spot called, "Tell Me".
Infinite Possibilities, I don't have this so-lo debut CD yet, but I will. Seeing the video and listening to the profound words of her song entitled, "Get Up" was powerful. The imagery in the video, for me, depicts life's struggles and the old saying once you fall get back up. Her music is a mixure of jazz and R&B with a hint of european influence. Her voice seem to be a hybrid of the smooth softness of Sade. The social awareness of Tracy Chapman and the sex appeal of Erykah Badu. The first I saw her video I didn't think nothing of it until I kept hearing the song. The more I saw it or kept hearing I the more I started liking her music. I will just say this loud and clear. AMEL LARRIEUX IS GONNA BLOW UP BIG TIME. She is gonn be the top singer of all female. Watch and See
