Coming out of the San Francisco scene of the late '60s, Kaleidoscope melds rock, blues and middle eastern rhythms together to form a rather interesting kaleidoscope of sound. This first release includes a cover of Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" along with what would become something of a highlight from this band called "Seven-Ate Sweet." Oh, and for those who are interested, Kaleidoscope boasts David Lindley as a member. Good, but now sounding dated, it is worth your while.
