    Overall, this album is pleasant to listen to, although there are two tracks I am compelled to completely skip over. I am a fan of her personality and voice, and will hope for more original lyrics and depth on the next album. I recommend this one!

    I was hoping that Jessica would become another full-blown pop diva, in the tradition of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. To me, there just aren't enough stirring ballads on this one--and that is what I look for in a good pop CD.The hooks are we...ak and she does her voice a great disservice by spending more time being breathy and not enough time belting it out, such as in her first single "I Wanna Love You Forever."Prior to buying the CD, I was also looking forward to hearing some new songs written by Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello. Needless to say, their song writing is absent from Jessica's new CD.In short, the CD could have been better. Read more Less

    In spite of the fact that I am a total Jess fan (maybe a little biast), this album is incredible. It features heartfelt lyrics and great photos of Jessica. There is not a song on here that I don't like, and you can tell she sings from her heart.

    I think that this cd is your best yet you should keep working at it, you and your husbad have amazing voices and this cd really brought it out. You have one of the best voices. Way to go Jessica!

    Jessica Simpson's album "In this Skin" sounds exactly the same as all the other cheap pop albums out today. C'mon sweetie, can't we think of anything original for a song, Instead of putting out the same old crap again and again?... I think Jessica Simpson needs to retire from singing, AND from her pathetic reality show "Newlyweds." Read more Less
