    Dis was a coooooo cd, but from his latest cds u can tell hes grown a lot lyric wise!!!!! the cd was tight, but dat song he had wit lil kim n puffy killed it!!!!! I think dat was da corniest song he eva made, da lyrics was coooo, but da hook corny!!!!...! He made up 4 it wit da on city is mine, where im from n da streets is wacthing, who u wit was banging 2!!!!!! Read more Less

    Jay-z hits hard, but not a homerun.

    With his second release, Jay-z fails in comparison to his first album. It seems Jay-z was feeling a little down at the time of recording this album. This dew to the untimely murder of his friend "BIGGIE SMALLS'.This is heard in "THE CITY IS MINE",wh...en jigga shows his love. Jay holds it down though with songs like "STREETS IS WATCHING'and "WHERE I"M FROM'. What stops this album from being a topper, is the missing in action, BRING YOU IN TO MY WORLD SONGS. Such as "DEAD PRESIDENTS 2' or "CAN I LIVE'. Jay's tempo was not up, I don't blame him, because the lost he that felt, would bring any person down. This album does'nt stop Jay's run, but it did slow him down a bit. Read more Less

    jigga is more to hip hop that what Michael Jackson was to pop. He is undoubtedly the greatest and even if there are other tight rappers jigga stands clear above them all. He has single handedly changed the direction of hip hop when rappers was bring...ing it to the suwer he brought it to Jacobs and clusters and still didn't sell out by accepting a token grammy, when alot of rappers claiming to be real and underground would have jocked the upportunity to get it, he showed em he didnt care wether they like him or not he has his street creds and he represents well for Marcy and every true hip hop fan the world over long live Jayhova. # 1 fan Clem Read more Less

    THIS CD WAS ANOTHER DEEP JAY-Z CD AND IF YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD A DEEP JAYZ CD THEN YOU MIGHT NOT FEEL IT. SO WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO IS BUY THE DYNASTY. THAT CD WILL OPEN YOUR MIND TO WHAT WILLIAM H. HAS TO SAY AND YOU WILL THEN BE A JIGGA FANATIC

    True lyrical excellence which is what Jay-z is associated with. A classic album with dope classic beats and as always, if you got love for the game, you will have love for Jay-z.
