Another of El Gran Combo's early-'80s efforts continues with the group's already familiar sound; it's pleasing as usual, without any real surprises and an almost cookie-cutter approach to repeating earlier productions. "Carbonerito" marks Papo Rosario's vocal debut with the group (after five years as a background singer). "Azuquita Pal Cafe" and "Imaginacion" are most enjoyable. A tad familiar, but always welcomed by any salsa fan.
