Totally awesome but...
This album is excellent from beginning to end but doesnt measure up to the brilliance of Stupid Dream. Get your hands on Stupid Dream at all costs. High points of this are Heart Attack and Collapse the Light.

this band is amazing! if you like an ecclectic mix of pink floyd, tool and rush, then stop looking.... you found it with this album! i recently saw them in concert, and they blew me away, AND i got one of my CD's signed by the band. this is one of the best albums/groups i've found in years.... true listening enjoyment. put on your headphones, kick back, and enjoy!

Porcupine Tree got good exposure when they toured with Yes here recently, but that's where it ends. If you want a very fine album from a relatively unknown band, you'll have to order it online. You might skip the steps I took; going to FYE, Borders, Best Buy, Strawberries etc. The sales people there crinkle their noses when you ask if they have something other than "Justified". You may also find that you have to spell out the word "porcupine" so they can type it (with one finger) into the database prior to informing you that they can order it for you. As far as air play, forget that too. Good music has seldom been a ready commodity, at least in the states.
