    Imitation of Life

    Pros: Tear ducts get a good rinse out. Awesome story.

    Cons: Need a lot of tissue or hankys.

    Process of human spiritual growth by a single mother and daughter. The relationship is strained because of no father figure and the times they were living in. The girl sought love of a man because she didn't have one at home and the enemy of God,... that is Satan sowed a seed in the girl that caused her to be ashamed of her own mother because of the colour of her skin, (the skin of a human is only their earthly suit by the way). The mother passes away and then the girl's heart is repentent and longs for her blessed mother. Oh, it also stars the woohoo very very handsome John Gavin and elegant Lana Turner. Read more Less

    This review is about the movie not a particular copy that I purchased from any website.I think that the movie is great and still can be applied today's generation because even though many people do not talk about it race is still very much import...ant. It is especially important in the Black community where I see many Blacks who straighten their hair and feel as though as they have to wear certain clothes and designers in order to fit in. So, please watch this film for both entertainment and to gain knowledge. Remnember, that our children only know what they are taught. Read more Less
