    Imagination's Light - Kevin Kern's best yet!

    Pros: The music is breathtaking! Simply gorgeous piano, and guitar.

    Cons: I wish there was more.

    Kevin Kern is one of my favorite pianists. His music transports me to another world. It is the only thing that can pull me out of a bad mood after a long day. This CD is by far his best yet. Kevin's arrangement of "Fields of Gold" is si...mply stunning. The opening chords pull you into the song immediately. "Keepers of the Flame" is a song that I cannot stop humming. It's beautiful melody makes me feel at peace with myself. "Sweet Dreams Helena" is a sweet tune that feels like a gentle lullabye that a parent would sing to a child at bedtime (and that a child would sing along with). I find myself coming up with lyrics to it whenever I listen. If you haven't heard of Kevin Kern, or are not familiar with his music, this CD is a great introduction. Try "Summer Daydreams" or "Beyond the Sundial" if you want to experience his cinematic side as well. Read more Less
