    Since 1976, when I first saw I, Claudius, I knew that I was watching something special. Indeed, since then I have seen a lot of good television, but not as good as this historic show. the BBC, at that times at the hight of it's creativity and originality, brought to screen some of the finest British actors: Derek Jacobi, the amazing Sian Philips - who stole the show - Brian Blessed, John Hurt, George Baker, Patrick Stewart and many more, for this truly masterpiece adaptation of Robert Graves' "I Caldius" & "Cladius the God" novels.
    This TV show excells also with the remarkable writting of Jack Pullman.

    Get it & see it if you haven't: 13 episodes of sheer brilliance!

    It's got sex..Its got murder...political corruption,lies,power hungry royal family members....Wow...
    A lot of movie there. It took me 20 days. For added enjoyment enjoy the book "I, Claudius" by Robert Graves at the same...to coincide with the video.
