I realize that Def Leppard is a band that, at best, were rock icons of the '80s. That being said, Hysteria is an album that has earned it's place among truly great musical works such as Pink Floyd's The Wall, U2's Atchung Baby,or Nirvana's Nevermind. At the time of it's release it was an innovative album, and even twenty years later it stands out as a well-crafted product. Unlike many albums, not one song is worth skipping over. I have worn out two cassette tapes and one CD listening to Hysteria, and will continue to play it often. It will alway be one of my favorites.

This album is a tru Def Leppard classic and a must have for those who are into this band. Rick Allen's determination truly shows in this album along with the rest of them.

now, i don't have this CD yet, but i do know the best songs on it. def leppard is one of the greatest classic rock bands of all time. this album is their best. that is why you must get this. it's got the classic songs: pour some sugar on me, armgeddon it, and hysteria. i will definetly get this CD soon and so should you. def leppard lost their guitarist and their drummer lost an arm, and they were still able to keep rocking. ROCK ON FOREVER.

Probably one of the greatest rock albums in my book. I look at this album as a comeback for def leppard, after it being a while after pyromania, to release an album, and the drummer lost and arm. HELL OF AN ALBUM!!! RICK ALLEN IS THE MAN!! Great drums in the album!!

7 songs from this album were released as singles....they were all hits. clear,crisp guitars..electronic drums and multi layered backing vocals make this a joy to listen to. a classic!
