Brian Harding (vocals and guitar), Jason Roberts (guitar and Wurlitzer), Jeremy Kay (bass), and Tony Kent (drums) create the honeyed alternative countryrock tones of Hymns. The New York foursome formed in 2005 with original drummer Matt Cole; however, Cole left the group in summer 2006 and was replaced by Kent, a Texas native. Hymns' debut album, Brother/Sister, and shows with Ben Kweller and the Sam Roberts Band followed in October 2006.
