    This is what I call some heavy stuff. This is probably one of godflesh's heavest albums. I'm supised that this is heavyer than fear factory's last 3 albums including obsolete. If you're thinking about getting one of fear factory's... last 3, you should try this out first. Trust me, you will like this too if you like fear factory. Read more Less

    Excellent Industrial Metal

    Pros: Great songs & production

    Cons: None!

    A very well thought out, well-produced CD that is heavy enough to please the metalheads, has enough atmosphere to please Goth-Metallers, but melodic enough to please those who don't particularly care for anything too heavy, Industrial or Gothic. ...Most of the songs are excellent; this is the kind of CD that you can put on and let it play all the way through. (The last track is the weakest IMHO). "Hymns" is crunchy, cold, and worth owning. If you like Fear Factory, Nine Inch Nails, Prong and Ministry, you should definitely check this one out.
