Pros: price, it's a husky, comfort, POWER, smooth riding, beer and cig holders
Cons: steering wheel, no bumper, came with small rear tires
I got this mower today and I was blown away at the performance. I have all ways used Husky power tools and talked my dad into mower a few years back which we both loved with the 17hp Kaw engine. After cutting my yard with this one I can't believe I even liked his. There is a lot of THICK fescue across the road, it was about 14 inches high, I set the mow hight to about 1 inch and went through it at full speed, the mower slowed about 1 mph, the engine lost about 500rpm and it threw a very liquid looking stream or grass all the way across the road not missing a single blade of grass and the swath was huge.
Comfort, the seat is nice but the switch is VERY sensitive, a lot more than my dads. I'm not fond of the steering wheel I like the Cub Cadet's wheel much better. The seat is adjustable which I didn't even notice till I read the manual. I wish the deck lever was on the right side.
I think I am going to put 23" tires on it due to poor traction on some of my yard.
I can't say much about the service, I've never had to use it on any of my orange toys, not once. I think my dad took his in to have the valves adjusted. I hope this one holds up half as good as my dads has but it seems to be built a little stronger and better thought out. ...
