    Husky with some motor issues

Pros: Loved the cut, the ride, and the power

Cons: The motor blew out the crank bearings after 2 hours use

I bought this model from an Atwoods Hardware store. For the price, it offers features that you really would only get on something much more expensive and manages those features beautifully.

Unfortunetly quality control at the ol Briggs and Stratton plant must have had a hang over when they passed my motor because just 2 hours after I bought it the crank bearings and seal went out spraying oil everywhere, and causing my engine to almost sieze.

I am going to give it one more chance and will write a new review after I get the new one on monday. That is if it actually lives long enough to make it to its 8 hour oil change...

    Pros: Maintenance

    Cons: Weak EVERYTHING

My grandmother bought this lawnmower from Lowes in 2005. She has a pretty good sized yard around 3 acres. I've worked on lawnmowers all my life, I've even raced them. This thing is a piece of JUNK. First I want to say that our 12 year old SR1433 Snapper will outcut this thing anyday of the week which of course it should, its a Snapper. It has significantly less horsepower than this piece of crap and even with a very dull blade will outcut the Husky with brand new blades. The Husky leaves a lot of sprigs in the grass, even at a slow speed. The vibration and noise isn't really all that bad but the clutch is located pretty far from the seat I'm 5'10 and i have a little bit of trouble reaching it if the seat is too far back so that my knees wont hit the steering column. I would have expected a lot more out of a brand new machine with 26 horsepower.
