    Pros: OK when it runs

    Cons: Doesn't run out of the box

    After doing extensive research and waiting three years to save the money, I sprung for the Husqvarna 125L String Trimmer. I went online with Norwalk Power Equipment. Avoid them as there is no communication at all. The item arrived in a timely fashion.... Would not start. Then it would not run. Well, after changing fuel, adjusting idle, cleaning airfilter and gaping plug it still ran very badly. Loading up at high speed and dieing off the idle. Adjust the carb you say. Special tool time. Screw them. I banged around the tool shed and came up with an aluminum spark plug top on a long screw. Jam it over the High speed adjuster thing, and turn 1/8 turn and all is well. Why was it so difficult. You can't be trusted to adjust your own engine due to smog restrictions. Get Bent. How about the two months I have been struggling. Stick to another brand, and spend a bit more to buy it from the guy down the street. Read more Less

    Forget the Husqvarna

    Pros: Looks pretty

    Cons: Can't get parts or service and it needs it.

    I bought this a Lowes 1 year ago. Use it twice a week and clear brush on hillside once per year. The coil went out. The local dealer could no longer get parts from his distributor. Local dealer cannot contact Husq for parts. He must wait for Husq to... call on him. Can you believe that? Called 1-800-Husky62 and only found two repair centers 30 and 40 miles away. And this is Los Angeles. Given this kind of "service and support" I will never buy anything from Husqvarna. I bit the bullet and spent some bucks on an Echo 265S. I only wish I had done this last year, instead of wasting $219 on a Husqvarna. Steer clear of this company, they won't support you. Read more Less
