    Used to love Alison Krauss and The Union Station crazily, but it's been such a long time since "Lonely Run Both Ways" no see Alison. Put this CD in your player, and get ready to dive in to a pure space full of brilliant piano sound. The... vocal of a legendary 20-time-Grammy Award-winning bluegrass/country singer is still really strong. Lots of collaborations, like "Missing You" ( duet with John Waite ), "How's The World Treating You ( duet with James Taylor ), "Whiskey Lullaby" ( duet with Brad Paisley ), "Lay Down Beside Me" ( duet with John Waite ), but I really prefer her solo performances. Just listen to "You Are Just Country Boy" or "Simple Love" and you'll see how beautiful and simple life turns out to be !!! Read more Less

    Pros: Very listenable

    Cons: A little short on upbeat bluegrass!

    Very pretty collection of songs from her film work (O Brother, Cold Mountain) and collaborations with other artists, mainly mellow, more on the pop side of Krauss's portfolio than the bluegrass/Union Station work. But just lovely, she has one of ...the purest voices in pop. Read more Less
