Humongous Entertainment World of Fun & Learning PC Game

Humongous Entertainment has combined its educational offering Big Thinkers Kindergarten with its graphic adventure game Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo to create a package designed to stimulate the minds of youngsters, while they have fun solving problems and learning new skills. As an added bonus, the ~Putt-Putt Notebook -- a small binder filled with activities kids can have fun with offline -- is included.

In Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo, the baby animals have disappeared from the ~Cartown Zoo and it is up to Putt-Putt and his doggie pal, Pep, to come to the rescue. Kids learn how to solve problems and use deductive reasoning as they travel through ~Cartown, searching for clues and speaking with other characters. Along the way, there are plenty of hotspots to click; some are items to help solve the mystery, others are fun animations.

In Big Thinkers Kindergarten, Ben and Becky are on hand to guide kids through a series of curriculum-based lessons aimed at building a foundation for future education. There are six rooms in their house, each with two or more activities centered around letter identification, measuring and estimating, spelling, sequencing, and more. Kids get ~SmartStars every time they finish an activity or puzzle, which they put in the ~BrainBank. Once they have enough stars, they can enter the ~Superstar of Smarts challenge to try to earn a printable certificate.
