Every song sounds the same and there the most overplayed rock band of all time. A true disgrace of a rock album.

This CD Rocks!

Pros: One of the Best albums of 1999.

Cons: Wish Creed Was Still Together.

I disagree with the last 2 reviews. I listened to the entire album and love it. "Higher" still remains one of my favorite all time songs because it helped me get through dealing with the death of a loved one at the time. Hearing that song h...elped me heal from the loss. "Arms Wide Open" is also a beautiful song because its about the birth of lead vocalist Scott Sapp's son. I cannot understand why after all these years some people are still hating on Creed. They wanted to show the world that there is more to rock and roll than sex and drugs that the music has recieved an unfair perception as being such that. Whatever reason, I will not try to understand it. The previous reviewers have a right to their opinions. I love this cd and highly recommend it. Read more Less

Pantera rules, not these jokers

Creed is the most boring band I've ever heard. All they ever do, is repeat the same lyrics, and riffs, and that Eddie Veder ripoff wannabe Scott Stapp whines and whines like the loser he is. You want real music, listen to Pantera, Motorhead, Slay...er, Sepultura, Deicide, Chimaira, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Mercyful Fate/King Diamond, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, or some Morbid Angel. I swear I have played this CD so many times the disc will melt soon!! It's an amazing album with exceptional guitar works and outstanding lyrics. You will love this album trust me. Haters of Creed are tone-deaf idiots who listen to crappy bands a...nd are really not fit to write music reviews. All the songs in this album rocks!!!! There is not one bad song on 'human clay'. Neat sophomore effort with the hits: HIGHER, W.A.W.O., FACELESS MAN, INSIDE US ALL, W.A.T.Y., Y.G.O., WHAT IF, R U READY, BEAUTIFUL & SAY I..... WRONG WAY rocked ass too! NEVER DIE: needs improvement! Overall: 5 Stars!
