Synopsis: House of 1,000 Corpses (2003)

Set in the 1970's, two young couples take a misguided tour onto the back roads of America in search of a local legend known as Dr. Satan.     bloody, but not overly gory, haunting and WAY overly scary. Some scenes are SO tense that you nearly have to draw your eyes away. The torture scenes were not drawn out in the theatre, hopefully the DVD has TONS of extra scenes...

    If blood and gore is what you want then House of 1000 Corpses is the movie for you. Reminiscent of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Corpses offers a new, modern take of a psychotic family that is ready to do in a group of unsuspecting college students. Rob Z...ombie's long awaited addition to the horror movie archive does not disappoint. A killer soundtrack and superb acting makes this an instant classic. Just check out Sid Haig's performance as Captain Spaulding and you'll see what I mean. Corpses is a must for any horror fan. Read more Less
