Pro Reviews: House Music Movement

  • All Music Guide

Following on from Doc Martin's volume earlier in the year, Roger Sanchez brought a variety of past dance classics -- Sylk 130's "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life," Green Velvet's "Answering Machine," Kevin Aviance's "Din Da Da" and DJ Sneak's "U Can't Hide from Your Bud" -- to the decks for his House Music Movement. There are also a couple of his own productions, but the real highlight here is the bonus interview disc, featuring three dance legends from three cities: Juan Atkins, Todd Terry and Steve "Silk" Hurley.
