    One Of Heatwave's Very Best Albums

    Pros: Energetic and Lively From Start To Finish

    Cons: Weak in the ballad area

    'Hot Property' is where Heatwave begin to experiment with their grooves a bit.On songs like "All Talked Out","Razzle Dazzle" and the amazing "Therm Warfare" jazzier and a more improvisational approch take center ...stage in their style,even if they were always there.At the same time on "Eyeballin'"
    ;,"Raise A Blaze" and "One Night Tan" Heatwave deliver great dance tunes in their classic style,even while taking a latin turn on the strangely titled "Disco".The two ballads are not the bands strongest save for "First Day Of Snow".Why this (and Heatwave's releases from the 80's) aree't available on CD is a total mystery to me.
