Formed in 2005 when former Shudder to Think and Mind Science of the Mind guitarist Nathan Larson connected with Canadian singer/songwriter and bassist Emm Gryner (for whom he coproduced the 2006 album, The Summer of High Hopes), Hot One combines the swagger and attitude of glam rock and cock rock with a strong political overtone.
