Hot Action Cop rocks so hard!!!!

Pros: This CD is the hottest, the songs are good, the lyrics are awesome and those guys are so HOT!!!

Cons: The only song I didn't like was Alayal, coz I felt kinda left out in the category they were singing about. Besides that it was HOT!!!

If you waste your money on any other CD, well, thats stupid of you because this is one of the best CDs I have ever heard. It's one of the CDs you can listen to the whole thing and not have to skip songs....all the songs are that good. I don'...;t reccomend it to teachers or prudes, some of the lyrics are distasteful but are halarious if not meaningful. Number 5 (Busted) has one of the best lines I have ever heard in a song (Mirror, mirror can you tell; If they're kneeling in confession or if they just fell....that is so HOT) and Number 9 (Show Her) is the hottest track I've ever heard on a rock CD. If it weren't for Mike Shinoda's hot looks, I would say Hot Action Cop totally beats (my favorite band) Linkin Park any day!!!! Read more Less

Pro Reviews: Hot Action Cop

  • All Music Guide

Nashville, TN's Hot Action Cop could be the first PG-13 rap-metal crew. Sure, mouthpiece Rob Werthner yelps lines like "I'm gonna strip you down like a car in the barrio" over ear-splitting guitars and muscular drum fills. But the band's bravado isn't tainted with the intangible gloom that stains most groups of their genre (including Limp Bizkit, an obvious influence). Rather, Hot Action Cop's chest-thumping rap-rock has more in common with Uplift Mofo Party Plan-era Red Hot Chili Peppers. They're vulgar, loud, and they'll steal your girlfriend, but you're too good of friends with them to stay mad. Goofy songs like "Doom Boom" and the single, "Fever for the Flava," are harmless, high-fiving fun; "Busted" and "Face Around" are respectable remakes of the Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge." Thankfully, Hot Action Cop keep the social commentary to a minimum, in favor of amplified rockers tailor-made for a spring-break beer bash.

Biography

Hot Action Cop

Hot Action Cop's fiery frontman Rob Werthner once dated a girl who dumped him for an NYPD officer. This guy had a classic mullet, so Werthner took solace and poked some fun, nicknaming the guy "hot action cop." Ten years later, Werthner's inside joke was part of a living dream. He had a band -- a heavy, punk-inspired group -- and they joined the ranks of Limp Bizkit, Li... Read more
