Hootie Mack not only keeps the same energetic vibe that made Poison a hit, but expands upon that base, adding a more street-oriented production that, at its best, is more sexy and funky than their debut. Unfortunately, the high points on this album aren't as numerous as those on Poison; not only that, but the good songs didn't receive much airplay, causing the album to drop off the charts quickly.
