Pros: Great instrument work, lyrics, and even better vocals!!!

Cons: NOTHING!!!

Hoobastank is seriously the best band i've ever heard. Everything from their insrument work to their vocals is excellent. I really like them because Doug Robb puts so much emotion in to his singing. Don't pay attention to these other reviews ...that say Hoobastank isn't good. Obviously they don't have good taste in music. There is never a dull moment in this cd. If you like good music go out and buy their debut album. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Read more Less

This is such a great CD. I am a huge music fan that likes & respects all genres of music (rock, pop, R&B, easy listening, classical, & even contemporary country - real contemporary). There are many rock bands today where their music consist of alot... or too much of heavy head banging piercing guitars & the lead singers voice & lyrics get lost somewhere in the background. Hoobastank is a band with the ability to offer great vocals, lyrics, and a rythmic upbeat arrangement of heavy guitars that fit together in one solid package. This album is a masterpiece that includes heavy rock - but without reaching the hard core head banging sound (which is a good thing). I can actually understand the songs withought having to be high on some sort of heroine drug to get it (ha ha - joke). They deliver a masterpiece of strong powerful music that is sure to delight & shock the nervous system. Read more Less

i dont really hear incubus in hoobastank. even if you do, what's wrong with that? incubus is awesome. some people say stone temple pilots and pearl jam sound alike. again, both bands are great, so what if theyre similar? anyway, my one criticism of t...his cd is the fact that some of the songs kinda of mesh together too well, and you cant tell them apart. let you know, remember me and hello again are basically the same song. by the way, if you get a chance. see these guys live. they perform with a lot of passion and intensity. Great album the vocals and the percussiion are great. they sound a lot like incubus brandon boyd and the lead singer sound like they could be twins

A recommended buy if you love Incubus.

I really like Incubus.... so what the hell can I say? this album rocks, but there are too little songs. it would be better if the the CD has at least 50 minutes of songs.

They look like an exact carbon copy of Incubus execpt without a dj. Lead singer of hoobastank seems to get his looks from lead singer of incubus. dont get me wrong i like incubus but seeing a another one isnt wat i was lookin for.

They sound like your typical suburban garage-wannabe rockers. All their songs sound the same and the video for "Crawling in the Dark" is the same old crap. How many times have we seen a band playing and their fans "moshing" around them? Alien Ant ...Farm, Blink-182, Sum 41, need I say more? I'm tired of all this alt-modern rock or whatever you call it being played on the radio. Listen to 60s and 70s music for a real good time, but don't waste your money on all these copycat bands.
