    it's a pretty good cd. lol, the reason why lead singer doug robb sounds/looks like the lead singer from incubus is because they grew up in the same place, listened to the same type of music, have the same musical influences, etc etc...

    Cons: NOTHING!!!

    Hoobastank is seriously the best band i've ever heard. Everything from their insrument work to their vocals is excellent. I really like them because Doug Robb puts so much emotion in to his singing. Don't pay attention to these other reviews ...that say Hoobastank isn't good. Obviously they don't have good taste in music. There is never a dull moment in this cd. If you like good music go out and buy their debut album. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.     The debut album from this California-based quartet is likeable, turn-of-the-century modern rock played with little style, but youthful enthusiasm. Nothing here's gonna change the world, but the fact that these guys don't seem inclined toward filling any agenda or catering to a specific audience is promising. It's no-frills rock roll with occasional power melodies taking charge.
