Save your Money and Buy Something Else

    By huge  Jun 20, 2009

    Pros: quiet

    Cons: weak engine- short lifespan

This mower worked okay on my small lawn until the battery went dead (about a year and a half later).

Folks save your money and buy something else. This is a cheaply build machine with a short lifespan.
It is marketed as an environmentally friendly machine...the truth is it will be sitting in your local landfill before you know it and that's about as environmentally unfriendly as it gets.

    Homelite UT13122 Cordless Mower

By gadszooks  Oct 1, 2008 | 2 out of 2 found this Homelite UT13120 Lawn Mower review helpful

Pros: Worked fine the 8 to 10 times it was used

Cons: Battery or charger went bad. No parts to be found

Warranty is a 'limited 2 year warranty' which is apparently the time they last. My Homelite UT13122 mower is less than 18 months old and battery or charger has failed. No parts listed on Homelite website and a call to them was pointless, but at least they answered the phone. Calling Home Depot had same results - zip-zero-nada
My instinct says the $375 I paid for mower from Home Depot and the 10 times it was used probably equate to $37.50 a mow so I could have hired a neighborhood kid cheaper and a lot less aggravation

    Homelite cordless lawnmower model UT13122

By NJRaeSells  May 24, 2008 | 1 out of 1 found this Homelite UT13120 Lawn Mower review helpful

Pros: it's great for those who can't pull cords on a gas mower

Cons: if you loose the charger you're in trouble!

Petite lady who had two back surgeries that has grass at home must mow it. Last spring I was in search of the Black and Decker model that was cordless. All sold out so I went with the Homelite cordless model UT13122. I was impressed with it all last summer. This spring, went to use it again and realized the battery needed charging. I misplaced the charger! Started on Homelite's website; what a JOKE! Even while trying to register my product, there is NO catagory for lawnmowers to register. Hum. After researching and being quite upset, I learned Homelite is manufactured by American Lawnmowers. Tried thier website to no avail. Went back to Home Depot, explained all that I'm going through to find a "replacement" charger. He called Homelite and they want to charge me $49.00 plus $10.00 to ship it. I can't afford to spend $60.00 to replace the charger so currently I am trying to find a replacement. But first, I am trying to find online the actual owners manual that came with to get the specs and try to replace it. But, needless to say, I can't even find the damn manual online. STAY AWAY FROM HOMELITE PRODUCTS IF YOU DON'T NEED A HEADACHE.
