    Pros: no electric cord

    Cons: doesn't work

I bought this trimmer on May 24 and have tried to use it twice. The first time I had to stop every 5 minutes to open it and unwind string. I double checked the setup in the manual and everything was as it should be but the bump feeder didn't work.... The string kept cutting off too short and going up inside the spool. I was only cutting about a weeks worth of growth around trees and flower beds so it wasn't really long grass and it wasn't against fence or anything that would break the string. Today I tried again and got totally frustrated. I called Home Depot to take it back and they won't because I'm past the 30 days (today is June 29) for returning a gas powered tool. I'll try to see if Homelite will take it back but I'm not hopeful based on what I've been reading about thier support. I don't advise anyone to get one of these. Read more Less
