About Hobson's Choice
Taking equal inspiration from classic pop/rock and the revivalist new wave movement of the early 2000s, Hobson's Choice formed in 2001 in Charlottesville, VA. Brian Spreng (drums), Matt Cook (bass), Andrew Leahey (vocals, guitar), and Jim Thomson (guitar vocals) comprised the initial lineup, and a series of local shows and selffinanced regional tours established Hobson's Choice as a hometown draw.
