15 years of pure, hardcore funk. This is constantly in my CD player and I'll keep playing it. As well as the hits you have excellent B-sides like Gotta Stop (Messin' About), Erotic City, 17 Days, Shockadelica, She's Always In My Hair and 200 Balloons- tracks that you wonder how on earth they didn't make the albums of their A-sides respectively.

I'm not a huge fan of the man. I love the music forever. It's fresh and innovative, and always trying to push your limit. These three discs, especially the "B-sides" (why is it the record execs didn't release any of this?), are unusually high quality performances. Don't buy just the Hits packages, get the whole 3-disc set.

I agree this is one of the best I first heard selections from it in 85. It felt like a jolt of soul stirring electricity. I wish I could correspond with the brother,I'd tell him how he always seems to release a work that relates to some period of my life.

You know what, out of all Prince's cd's, this is the best, you know why? Because it has every song that he knew and other's knew would make hits. All I can say is that this album is probably the best greatest hits/compilation of all time.There's no more I can say about this package, just buy it okay, trust me it's worth every penny of tax and dollar you spend on it!

If you are a fan of Prince, then it goes without saying that this is a must have boxed set. However, if you are not into Prince, but simply love good music, then this collection is something worth investing in. This 3 CD set is awe inspiring. Even if you don't care for his odd behavior and sometimes lewd lyrics, there is no denying the fact that Prince is a musical genius. With many of his well known commercial hits like 1999, Purple Rain, and Sign O' The Times pushing this collecton, you are in store for hours of great music listening. Even more fascinating are the B-Sides. Several of these songs could have been top 10 hits, yet most of them were never released on an album. "Power Fantastic", "Erotic City", "How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore", and "4 Tears In Your Eyes" are prime examples of the versatility and musical creativity of Prince. It's not cheap, but it's replay value makes it well worth it's price.

all the hits are there, some b- sides like "always in my hair" or "another lonely christmas" could have been hits, too.
it was the perfect point of time to release a greatest hits- package in 1993: everything he released as symbol deserves no recognition.

This is definately the best collection of Prince songs out there! The one thing that I really like is that you get all the old favorites as well as the new all in on. If you are a Prince fan, this is definately the package to get.
