The Hitachi P50V701 is the first HDTV from Hitachi to include the revolutionary new film processing known as Reel60. Hitachi exclusive Reel60 film processing perfectly matches the motion of movies.

The PictureMaster HD V video processor found in the P50V701 not only provides the best film playback possible but also upgrades all incoming signal to match the Full HD1080 panel and ensures outstanding picture quality regardless of input type or resolution format.

With Full HD1080 products this HDTV is a perfect pixel-for-pixel match to the dominant high definition signal in the marketplace today. The P50V701 50" Plasma utilizes the Full HD1080 resolution standard (1920 x 1080) and has extremely sharp detail with over 2.1 million individual picture elements. Hitachi patented ClearWindow technology incorporates a high aperture pixel structure with less grid structure for an extraordinarily lifelike picture.

The Highest quality connection with home A/V devices is delivered with 3-SimplayHD HDMI video inputs. These HDMI inputs are 1080p compatible and include high definition video and audio in a single cable connection.
