    big bang, low buck

    By Larry H  Sep 5, 2007 | 4 out of 6 found this Hitachi P42H401 review helpful

Pros: all controls easy to find and use, wonderful picture on newer movies and shows, decient picture on older programs

Cons: no swivel base, very heavy unit

got mine at BestBuy. 900 bucks can't be beat, but you get good quality and great features equal to most of the best names that cost $2000! Unit is heavier than most, 100 lbs, and shouldn't be wall mounted. The base doesn't swivel or tilt,... but once it is placed where you want it all is good. Great factory sound, excellent picture on most programs, but unless you have a high definition satellite box, there is no HD cable connection to make. Don't waste money on a HD cable you cant use and don't need. Read more Less
