Two dozen pop hits by as many performers should make for a decent overview of '60s pop, but this compilation maybe too diverse for some, and not diverse enough for others. For instance, there's no Motown, soul, or bubblegum. Highlights include the many one-hit wonders: Curtis Lee's "Pretty Little Angel Eyes," Paul Paula's "Hey Paula," the Corsairs' "Smokey Places," and the Dreamlovers' original rendition of "When We Get Married." As well, smashes by Dion, the Shangri Las, Barbara George, and the Capris make this one hot item for ~16 Magazine and American Bandstand fans.
